Equipment, Medication and Supplies
Hospice Care Services arranges and pays for equipment,
medication, and supplies related to the terminal
illness. The patient’s physician and Hospices
staff will monitor the need for additional medications,
equipment and supplies, and make suggestions to
the patient and family as appropriate. Although
not all patients require adaptive equipment, medications
or supplies, options are available and are intended
to assist with symptom management, increase level
of comfort, and ease pain.
