Infusion Nursing Services
Infusion therapy is a medical procedure that
provides the patient’s body with fluid or
medication through a vein. CHANS Home Health Care
skilled nurses are able to provide care for patients
with infusion therapy in the home environment.
- antibiotics
- enzyme-replacement
- hydration
- total prenatal nutrition (TPN)
- Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC
lines)
- Implanted Vascular Access Devices (IVAD)
- Short peripheral catheters
CHANS Home Health Care will coordinate with the
patient’s discharge planner at the hospital,
and durable medical supply company to ensure that
there is a smooth transition from the hospital
to the home environment and home-based care.
Depending on the patient’s medical insurance,
CHANS Home Health Care nurses can administer therapies
daily, or as needed and prescribed by the patient’s
physician.
